The fish is the blueprint.

You remember the color when it came out of the water, the shape through the shoulders, and the exact look that made the catch yours. That is where our work starts.

We measure the fish, carve the body, and build the details around the animal in front of us. We do not force your catch onto the nearest commercial form.

Jim and Connie will give you a straight answer about reproduction, skin mount, or trophy work before anything reaches the bench.

Built from the fish outward.

A convincing mount depends on the parts most people only notice when they are wrong. We make those parts fit the fish.

Body
We measure your fish and hand-carve the form to its real proportions.
Cold-water head
We cast the head for a proper fit instead of using a commercial replica.
Fins
We keep the natural fins when possible and cast them from your fish when necessary.
Eyes
We make our own eyes so the final expression belongs to the species.

Warm-water fish can carry the moment.

Bass and other warm-water fish show their gills. We cast those gills from the fish and set them open for the live, flared action you remember.

Bring us the catch. We will talk through the right way to keep it.

Fish reproductions

Keep the memory without keeping the fish. We work from measurements and photos, then shape and finish the mount to the catch you remember.

S

Skin mounts

If you want your actual fish preserved, we build a carved body to its measurements and finish the skin, head, fins, and eyes by hand.

T

Trophy and euro work

Call before you bring the trophy in. We will listen, look at the condition, and tell you what work makes sense.

Repairs and remounts

A bad or aging mount can carry a lot of disappointment. Send photos and we will talk honestly about what may be saved.

Hunters come back when the trophy matters.

“Her honesty completely blew me away and I was so impressed with it.”

Kevin Babcock

“Jim and Connie were great to work with! Always answered the phone, friendly, and extremely flexible.”

Tom Patterson

For fish work, Tammie Cornforth put it plainly: “This was the Best work on my brown trout.”
